Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Eco Hotel El Refugio de La Floresta in Leticia, I was thoroughly impressed by the combination of comfort and ecological mindfulness. With spacious rooms featuring private bathrooms and the luxury of balconies overlooking the bustling streets, I felt right at home while getting a taste of local life. The friendly, attentive staff, particularly Jhuliana and her lovely mother, made it a memorable experience, ensuring I was well taken care of and even guiding my friend and me on local adventures. Breakfast was delightful—eggs to order accompanied by fresh juice and coffee, fueling us for our day exploring the amazing Amazon region where kayaking and cultural sites like the Bank of the Republic Ethnographic Museum awaited. I would gladly return for a longer stay, not just to indulge in their incredible food but to soak in the vibrant atmosphere with friends. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to embrace both nature and comfort!
